Discovery Zone the New York-born is the alias of musician and multimedia artist JJ Weihl, a founding member of the experimental pop project Fenster. It serves as a creative space where Weihl blends pop music, video collage, PowerPoint presentations, and conceptual advertisements into a singular, immersive experience. Discovery Zone’s debut album, Remote Control, was released in 2020 via Mansions and Millions. Her second LP, Quantum Web, arrived in March 2024, co-released by RVNG Intl., Mansions and Millions, and Plancha. This extended version, marking the year anniversary of Quantum Web, invites listeners deeper into Discovery Zone’s maze, where melodies fracture and reform, music becomes mirror and mirage, and circuitous patterns lead to electric dreams. Her performances transform the stage into a futuristic laboratory, using an array of instruments and visuals to explore the universe as a vast source of information.
