Multi-instrumentalist Lars Fischer, also known as Klangkollektor, is an independent music producer and theater/film musician. In his beautifully located studio in the heart of the city, he works with computers, analog synthesizers, mixing consoles, and real instruments. Here, he also indulges his passion for self-made or modified effect devices and instruments. As a counterbalance to the meticulous work with sequencers and computers, a lot of musical improvisation flows in, which he has cultivated with many projects and which plays a significant role in his work. He also enjoys collecting sounds and noises in the city and nature with a small recorder for his archive. For many years, he has been involved in various band projects, as a bassist, electronics enthusiast, dubmixer, or drummer for a Psychedelic Cumbia band “Trak Trak”. His debut release on double vinyl “Klangkollektor - Dub Tapes Volume 1” was released 2024 on “Before I Die” records in Manchester/UK.
