Ulli Bomans is a musician and visual artist who completed his art studies in the Documenta city of Kassel in the late 90s. During this time, he founded the project “Shrubbn!!” with Marco Haas, through which several vinyl albums and maxis were released. International appearances followed. He started his solo project “Schieres” at the age of sixteen, performing techno as well as ambient and noise live sets and, beginning in the 00s, developed a multimedia stage concept with “Gladbeck City Bombing”, which combines electronic music with visual elements such as costumes, stage design, and video projection. Since 2020, he has been active as part of the artist duo “Elke Glamourton” and works on collage series such as “Face It” and “Agents”, which are shown in international exhibitions.
